About Us
Hello, we are so excited to introduce you to Tiny Tales!​
My name is Kiah, and I run Tiny Tales playgroup. I am a qualified teacher, as well as a SpLD (dyslexia) specialist, with over ten years experience.
I am a huge advocate of learning through play and the importance of encouraging a love of reading as early as possible. It is my belief that these are the two most effective and enjoyable ways to learn, and this is what we offer at Tiny Tales sessions in Kings Hill!​​​​​
What's on offer at Tiny Tales?
Story Time
Messy Play
Each session includes sensory and messy play, designed to stimulate your child's senses and encourage exploration and discovery.
With different themed sensory activities, children have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning and imaginative play.
Themed Play
The toys and activities set up each week will be themed with our book of the week.
This creates a truly immersive experience by bringing the story to life and helping children connect with the book in a fun, engaging way.

Phonics
Each session focuses on a different grapheme (phonic sound) related to the book of the week.
This includes short varied teacher-led activities that are age appropriate ways of introducing your little ones to phonics.
Each session focuses on a different children's book from the top 100 recommended reads by UK schools.
Our story time sessions aim to captivate young minds and foster a love for reading and imagination.

Arts and Crafts
At Tiny Tales, we believe in the power of creativity. Our arts and crafts corner allows little ones to express themselves through various art forms and materials.
Role Play
Our playgroup sessions include themed role play.
Designed to encourage their creativity, language and communication skills, social interaction, and support their emotional development by exploring different perspectives and expressing their feelings.
