Meet the Mums Behind the Magic!

Hi, we’re Alex and Amie!

We’ve been best friends since we were 17, and our favorite role yet has been navigating motherhood together. Between us, we have four wonderful kids ranging from 18 months up to 9 years old, so you could say we’ve spent quite a bit of time sitting on playgroup floors!

Before taking over Tiny Tales, we actually attended the group ourselves during our maternity leaves. We fell completely in love with the concept of bringing classic children's books to life through creative, hands-on setups. Going to playgroups together was our absolute lifeline, and we know firsthand how important a warm, welcoming, and safe environment is for both children and parents.

We are just two massive kids at heart who love storybook magic and creative play. Our goal is to handle all the planning, prep, and (most importantly!) the massive sensory cleanup, so you can just turn up, bond with your little one, and enjoy a relaxed morning with a lovely community of local parents.

What's on offer at Tiny Tales?

What we do

Every week, we dive into a brand-new adventure! Each session is themed around a carefully selected children's book.

We take the characters and settings from the pages and turn them into hands-on experiences, featuring:

Themed Play Zones: Dedicated areas with props and toys that match the story of the week.
Messy & Sensory Play: Tuff trays and sensory bins filled with exciting textures, shapes, and materials for your little ones to safely explore
A creative space featuring a weekly craft activity tailored specifically to our featured book, giving your little artist a beautiful keepsake to take home.
